About
I'm JohnPaul Williams II, and I sell for a living - not as a side identity I put in a bio, but as the thing that pays my bills. I've run cold email nearly every weekday, made the calls nobody wants to make, and sat in the gap between "no" and "let me think about it" enough times to know what's real and what's theater.
That's why this site exists. Most sales content online is written by people two or three years removed from actually doing it, repackaging the same five LinkedIn takes into a $2,000 course. If you've spent any time in r/sales or r/techsales, you already know the joke. The audience is jaded for good reason - they've been sold to by people who can't sell.
So I'm doing the opposite. I write down what I'm actually running: the cold outreach that gets replies and the templates that get me marked as spam. The path I'd take if I were breaking into tech sales today with zero experience. The honest math on whether an AI sales coach is worth your money - including when it isn't.
I'm also building one. An ethical AI roleplay tool that practices objection handling with you instead of promising you'll "10x your close rate." It's launching soon, and I'm building it in the open so you can judge it on results, not marketing.
No fake gurus. No motivational nonsense. Just what works, what's hype, and who to actually follow - even when that's somebody other than me.
Now go close something.
