JohnPaul Williams II — AI Sales Trainer & Builder of Rex
I built Rex for me.
Not because I was good. Because my emotions were out of whack and I needed somewhere to practice without anyone watching.
I'd get on calls already convinced the answer was no. Lead with apology. Soften the ask before anyone pushed back. That's not a knowledge problem. You can't read your way out of it. The only fix is reps. Enough of them that the composed version of you starts to feel like the real one.
So I built an AI sales trainer that would give me that. Something I could run objection drills and roleplay with, alone, until the language patterns I needed started showing up on their own. Not an AI sales training course to click through. An actual place to reset the wiring and build the confidence to show up as myself on a real call.
It helped. More than I expected.
What I didn't see coming was the gap tracking. Rex logs where things break down. The specific patterns. The moments you don't know are costing you. That data changed how I practiced.
End of July we're releasing a dashboard for solo reps and small teams. You'll see your own gap profile over time. If you're running a small team, you'll see where each rep is getting stuck before it shows up in the numbers. Not a gut feeling. Just the actual data, week over week.
I still run it on weekends. That's not changing. I'll be here every Saturday pushing it forward, curious where it goes and how to make it better.
If any of this sounds familiar, Rex is a place to get those reps. No audience. No judgment. Just you and the work.
I hope it does for you what it did for me.
